New Stuff

You'll have noticed, I hope, that I've made some improvements to the look of Planet Balham. In particular, I'm very happy about the photo that I've added to the header (thanks to Bob for the original - an for making it available under a Creative Commons licence).

I've also added a couple more feeds. One of them is a search for all mentions of Balham on Twitter. I'm hoping that will bring some lively new content onto the site. Oh, and I think I've fixed a text-encoding bug that made some of the entries (particularly the weather forecast) look really ugly.

As always, I'm still interested in hearing about other feeds that you would like added. If you know of a web site that has some connection to Balham and which produces a web feed, then please let me know.

More Feeds

I was getting a little bored with the set of feeds that we were aggregating. Some of them had stopped publishing and the site was starting to look a bit stale.

So I looked at this list of blogs near Balham. And I've added another half a dozen or so blogs to the site. There were far more of them listed, but many of them hadn't had a new entry for years.

So, enjoy the new feeds. And (as always) let me know if you know of any Balham-related web feeds that I can add to the site.

And We're Back

Planet Balham has been out of action for a few months, but now we're back. As always we're aggregating all of the best web feeds about Balham that we can find. And as always we'd love to hear your suggestions if you think there are any feeds that we've missed.

Please send your suggestions to dave@planetbalham.org.uk.
